High Schoolers Urge Make Polluters Pay
In January 2025, wildfires brought enormous devastation to the Los Angeles basin. Now a bit over a year later, high school students from Palisades and Santa Monica High Schools together with members of the community will gather at ground zero to recall those moments.
Groups across the country, especially high schoolers, are urged to hold climate watch parties to share feelings and discuss what students are doing.

World Wetlands Day
Protecting wetlands for our common future. Nearly 90% of the world’s wetlands have been degraded since the 1700s, and we are losing wetlands three times faster than forests. *The Convention on Wetlands will meet in July in Zimbabwe to agree a three-year plan for the conservation and defense of these valuable ecosystems.
